About the Artist:
As i interviewed him, i simply decided to quote him :)
Bradley B-easy Jacques was born August 17th, 1990 at 4:58pm!!
I grew up and still reside in South Richmond Hill,
I went to Our Lady of the Cenacle, then before 6th grade
I transferred to a school called St. Andrew Avellino.
The love of manipulating words to create a different view
of common themes inspired me to write.
Going through my early days of relationships and also being
more exposed to music and lyrics impacted my drive.
Then, new writing styles, life experiences, bigger vocabulary,
and my imagination has all served as an inspiration.
Here goes on of his multiple poems, "Hope" you enjoy! ;)

Hope
These black clouds will pass one day,
Smiles will form from these hearts with dismay,
I’ve seen a nation rise with just its nations’ pride,
We’ll never fall back, our strength is well designed,
Our army is well aligned, no weapons, put those aside,
A voice speaks louder, feel my battle cry,
Embrace my right to life, let this candle be our light,
Even with my eyes closed, God is still my source to sight,
I’ve cried many nights, but hope will persevere,
We’re nowhere near the end of the tunnel,
I swore the light was near, shhh
I feel a shaking in the ground,
Life was just so normal,
Now there’s rubble all around,
Children can’t be found,
My parents are underground,
An earthquake has struck,
Buildings are falling down,
I’m trying to run, I don’t know where to go,
Fear is in my heart, but emotions I try to throw,
Thoughts become unclear, the world’s expiration must be near,
But this is my home, I refuse to be alone,
This is just a dream, this must be just a poem,
Shook my head, rubbed my eyes,
No cars, Haitian bodies are parked outside,
The ground is now red, my Haitian people bled,
Lord make this stop, let me pray and bow my head,
Lord, I pray for this disaster to stop,
My family is gone, but my faith not,
But if you’ve taken them, then please take me too,
They drew up my love, I just painted it for you,
So my love is still strong, it’s just pure strength that I lack,
God, I’d do anything to have my parents back,
But if I survive this day, lend me your hand in guidance,
You are my true Savior, the only one I can confide in,
And allow me to make money and give it back to you,
You, my country Haiti, forever I love you…
